Colorado Cat article

Posted by

Here is a fun article that I found about a cat that was found on 9/14/2011 in Manhattan after disappearing from Colorado five years ago. I re-worded it a bit to make it comprehensible for my Spanish 2A students, who are dabbling in past tenses. I like it because most of the verbs that are used are easily identifiable (cognates or high frequency verbs that are regular/similar to their present tense forms). There are some comprehension and free response questions on the second page. If you’d like to use the original article in your classes (which really isn’t that much more challenging than my revision), the citation with the url is at the bottom of the PDF. Enjoy 🙂
